Dance Moms' Nia Sioux Explains Absence from Reunion

Former "Dance Moms" star Nia Sioux has opened up about her decision not to participate in the "Dance Moms: The Reunion" special, which aired in May 2024 and featured several of the show's original dancers.

Rehashing the Past

According to Sioux, she declined the invitation because she is not interested in rehashing her experiences from her time at Abby Lee Miller's dance studio.

"I chose not to participate in the reunion because I have moved on from my time on 'Dance Moms,'" Sioux explained. "I'm not interested in reliving the past and the drama that came with it."

Growth and Evolution

Sioux emphasized that she has grown and evolved since her days on the show and is focused on the present and future.

"I'm proud of who I am today and what I have accomplished," Sioux said. "I'm not defined by my past experiences, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to embrace new challenges and opportunities that lie ahead."
